After losing their first two group matches against West Indies and India, Pakistan face Zimbabwe in an important match on the 1st March 2015 at Brisbane.
The match will start at 9.00 AM IST. With the pitch having bounce and pace Pakistan must play to their potential if they have to beat Zimbabwe. Pakistan lost their previous match by 150 runs.
Team Guide –
The Zimbabwe team has good batting line up. They have Chibabha and Raza at the top of the order, followed by Masakadza, then experienced Brendon Taylor, Williams, Ervine and Chigumbura. In the match against West Indies Williams played a good innings of 76 and also Ervine also scored 50 runs.
The bowling looked ordinary as they picked up wicket in the first over but after that Gayle and Samuels plundered the bowling attack and scored 372. The bowling looks decent with the likes of Panyangara, Chatara, and Kamungozi.
Pakistan has an inexperienced batting order. Ahmed Shehzad partnered Younis Khan and Nasir Jamshed in the first two matches in the tournament so far followed by Haris Sohail, Captain Misbah, Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi. Their bowling is reasonably weak which comprises of Mohmmad Irfan, Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, and experienced Shahid Afridi.

With Pakistan yet to win their first match of the tournament the pressure will be on Pakistan to play some aggressive cricket. With Younis Khan and Nasir Jashmed to be left out for this match, Sarfraz Ahmed will keep wickets for Pakistan. As for Zimbabwe their main problem has been their bowling especially in the last few overs. This match promises to exciting affair between two struggling teams.

The main problem for Pakistan has been their lackluster performance in the tournament. Against India he was only shining light scoring 76 runs which Pakistan lost by a big margin. Pakistan captain must lead from the front and show the other batters in the team to overcome tough situations.

Sean Williams has been a consistent performer for Zimbabwe in the tournament. In the match against UAE he scored a vital knock which helped the team to win the match. In the last match Zimbabwe were chasing a big score but played an important knock of 76. If the openers set a good platform then he can come and play his natural game.
