After winning their last group match West Indies will meet Zimbabwe in an important group B clash on the 24th February 2015 at Canberra. The match will start at 9.00 AM IST. West Indies beat Pakistan by a huge margin of 150 runs while Zimbabwe defeated UAE by 4 wickets.

Team Guide –

West Indies

West Indies team has a good batting unit. They need Gayle to fire big time if they have score huge runs in the match, Dwayne Smith is also a good batsman. With Bravo being out for the next two matches of the World Cup Carter may find a place, Marlon Samuels is an attacking batsmen. Apart from Lendlon Simmons, Ramdin can have a big impact.

Russell and Sammy are players who can have an impact on the match with bat. Russell did a great job against Pakistan who scored 42 off 13 balls. In the bowling front Taylor, Holder, Russell, Sammy and Benn need to bowl well if they have contain the batting order of Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe team has good batting line up. They have Chibabha and Raza at the top of the order, followed by Masakadza, then experienced Brendan Taylor, Williams, Ervine and Chigmbura.

All these players have the ability to play fast and put pressure on the inexperienced UAE bowling. The bowling also looked decent in the previous reducing South Africa to 83 for 4 before Miller and Duminy steadied the flow of wickets. The bowling looks decent with the likes of Panyangara, Chatara, and Kamungozi.

With both teams winning one match each so far in the tournament it will an exciting clash between two African nations. West Indies looked a settle unit after winning their match against Pakistan by 150 runs while Zimbabwe had to struggle to get past UAE.

Key Players to watch out for –

West Indies: Andre Russell

Andre Russell has been in good form with bat in this tournament so far. In the match against Pakistan he scored a quick fire 42 off 17 balls which helped West Indies to score a total 310 which was enough for West Indies to register. West Indies need other batsmen to fire and give a platform to Russell so that he can hit sixes.

Zimbabwe: Brendan Taylor

He is one experienced players of Zimbabwe. Against UAE he played a vital knock of 47. He knows how to build an innings. He needs to play a big innings and give the Zimbabwe team has a chance of beating a test playing nation.
