Today Pakistan and Australia are failing to face off each other in Mirpur, Bangladesh. Whereas Aussie keeps winning the recent matches, Pakistan is keeping up a mediocre place. They started their 2014 ICC World Twenty20 campaign this Friday with a defeat against India. Although this defeat does not price them huge trouble, but if they would not register them to win against Australia, it would be hard for them to exist in the World T20 tournament. Pakistan’s fielding and bowling strategies have always been their priority, but this time it is their forceless and fragile batting strategy which makes them pay a loss in the final couple. They bear to show betterment a lot in order to make it in the tournament. But Pakistan is always recognized for fighting back, and they are quite capable this time also.
At the same time, Australia has always been a tough competition from other T20 playing nations. They began their run with five wins from their last five games, though those wins came from different conditions in Australia and South Africa. Bangladesh has presented comparatively slower pitch and that is going to be a new odd for the Aussie actors. They played and scored 113 from eight overs in a warm-up match against New Zealand in Fatullah and that proves encouraging to them. In this match there is another odd preset for them and that is Pakistani spinners.
Australia allrounder James Faulkner has been ruled out due to his knee injury, and it brings a small pressure on their head.
They last met in a T20 match in a group stage of the 2012 World T20 in Sri Lanka and that time Pakistani spinner had blown away the Aussie and registered a victory. It may be proved dangerous once again. All the hard-hitting batsmen from their side are capable only to face and hit the balls that comes from pacers rather than the pinners with lots of tough variations, and it is noticeable for the other two group members India and West Indies that how Aussie batsmen is going to take the spin challenge later in the tournament.
