Bangladesh and Australia will meet at Bengaluru on Monday night of Group 2 encounter in Super 10 stage of ICC WT20 2016.
Both teams suffered a loss in their first game of Super 10 stage. So all the remaining matches will be a must-win game for both the teams. Australia lost against New Zealand in their first Super 10 stage game by 8 runs. On the other hand, Bangladesh, who qualified for Super 10 stage of WT20 2016 from the first round of the tournament, suffered a big defeat against Pakistan by 55 runs.
Recently Asia Cup T20 finalist Bangladesh has come up with some great performances in T20Is despite suffering a loss in their last game against Pakistan, while Australia is not in much of form in T20I cricket. However, Australia has defeated Bangladesh in their previous 3 T20I outings in previous WT20 tournaments. So practically Australia is the favourite team for this clash but Bangladesh is a much better team than the previous ones which Aussies encountered.
Recently, Bangladesh is in a major trouble after losing their two bowlers (Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny), who were suspended due to their illegal bowling actions. So, the team has to find a new combination in their playing XI. However, their new young talented pacer Mustafizur Rahman is going to be fit and has a chance to play against Australia.
On the other hand, Australia still are yet to find their best combination for T20I cricket and to make matters worse they are not getting results in T20I matches. It is expected that they will also make some changes in their playing XI.
Bangladesh probable XI: Mashrafe Mortaza (C), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Mahmudullah, Mohammad Mithun, Al-Amin Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman.
Australia probable XI: Steve Smith (C), Shane Watson, Usman Khawaja, David Warner, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Peter Nevill, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazelwood.
