After not so successful a World Cup campaign, the Pakistan cricket board who were in Bangladesh for a bilateral series have ended up losing the third match of the three match series in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Imran Khan one of the most successful cricketers to have played for Pakistan, felt that the country had one of the most talented youngsters in the sport said that the PCB are selecting players not on merit and felt that the cricket board contains people who are not so knowledgeable about cricket.

Imran khan after seeing Pakistan slump down to number 8 in the latest ODI rankings said that he never expected the team to lose 3-0 in a series against Bangladesh. Imran khan also blamed the hierarchy of cricket in the nation for the loss of form and said that the nation needs to replicate the facilities in Australia Imran khan explained how the best batsman in the national team Misbah-ul-Haq, started playing for the country at 34 and how Irfan khan made his debut at the age of 30 where are examples of how the structure of cricket in Pakistan has failed.

Imran khan also explained that his time at New South Wales has shown him that the Australian domestic cricketing structure it is the best in the world and that it in turn helps the Australian national team to be on top year after a year. He explained that Pakistan also need such a system so that they will not fail in finding good talent and making them play at the right time in their life.
