A week after creating a sensation by saying that he didn’t become the Head Coach of Indian cricket team due to lack of setting in the BCCI, Virender Sehwag has come up with an explanation regarding the same during the second ODI between India and Australia at Eden Gardens.

In fact, Sehwag himself raised the matter while doing the commentary with Sourav Ganguly – one of the members of CAC – in Kolkata on Thursday. In the middle overs of the game, Ganguly arrived in the commentary box and shared a few light moments with Sehwag and VVS Laxman.
After a few minutes, Sehwag himself raised up the matter and inquired Ganguly about the tweet, in which the former captain had said about talking with him once Sehwag arrived in Kolkata.
Ganguly, straightaway put a question in front of Sehwag by asking what he meant by saying he could not become the Head Coach of Indian cricket team because he did not have any setting in BCCI?
Sehwag too came up with an instant reply saying it was just a joke and then also praised the CAC. In a matter of few seconds, the matter was solved on the live television, which was probably the best way to clear the issue, as a few days back, Ganguly was misquoted regarding the matter. One of the reports claimed that he had called Sehwag’s comments as foolish.

Finally, both of them solved the matter on the live television, which left no room for ambiguity ahead. Incidentally, it was Virender Sehwag, who along with Jhulan Goswami marked the start of the ODI game by ringing the bell at Eden Gardens, which was an indication that the relation between Ganguly and him are well and it all media hype in the circles.
