IND vs AUS, 2nd Test: Twitterati Brutally Troll Virat Kohli For Another Poor Review
Mar 4, 2017 at 2:08 PM
Just a couple of weeks ago, Virat Kohli was looking like a world-beater. The India skipper was scoring heavily with the bat and bowlers of all kind were finding it impossible to get him out.
However, the 28-year old is looking completely out of sorts in the ongoing series against Australia.
After a poor outing in the first Test at Pune where he was dismissed for 0 and 13, his bat remained silent in the ongoing second Test too at Bengaluru where he was dismissed for only 12 by Nathan Lyon. What made it look even worse was the way Kohli was dismissed.
The Delhi star, who was clean bowled in Pune while leaving a Steve O’Keefe delivery, was dismissed in a similar fashion in Bengaluru too when he just left alone a wicket-bound delivery from Lyon only to see it hitting him on the pad. The ball was as straight as it could have been and the umpire had no hesitation in raising his finger.
However, the India captain surprised everyone by reviewing the decision. And as expected, the decision went in the favour of the bowler but Kohli, who is having a tough time with the Decision Review System, became a subject of troll on the social media for yet another poor review.
So here are some best reactions:

And why did Virat Kohli ask for review?? Rahul did not give a correct perspective to the skipper. Scared of the Captain? #IndvAus https://t.co/Kx2hwkIknI

2nd time in a row @imVkohli out offering no shot to slow spinners. Tough phase this, loss of concentration, mind wandering out of the crease
