After whitewashing Sri Lanka 5-0 in the ODI series, Indian team has strengthened its top-spot in the ICC ODI Rankings.

India started the series at third position with 113 points and finished the series at top position with 117 points. Sri Lanka, even after getting hammered in the series, retained the fourth position but slipped in rating points to 108.

However, with Australia-South Africa series tied at one all, both sides have a brilliant opportunity to climb to the top-spot.
