India, England Cricket Team Buses Become Focus Of Attention For Fans In Kolkata Traffic Jam

While facing major traffic movement on Friday in Kolkata, the city of joy owing to VVIPs engagement, India and England cricket team buses were halted for over 30 minutes after jammed highway as the cricketers and officials were travelling towards the hotel in Alipore after coming from the airport.
According to the report, Bengal Global Bussiness Summit is holding several delegations regarding the business as President Pranab Mukherjee and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh are also attending the function in the West Bengal capital Kolkata for bi-centennial celebrations at Presidency University.
The Bengal Global Summit which is being held at the Milan Mela ground – connects Park Circus to the Metropolitan Bypass on the eastern side which brought the traffic to a grinding halt in the city
Sportzwiki has learnt that the Rapid Action Force (RAP), were escorting both the teams to the hotel and were seen busy in maintaining the distance between the motorcyclists and public from the team buses.
The traffic police officials were also busy in clearing the intersections, roads and by-roads to avoid the traffic congestion.
However, the fans were also seen shooting the videos and clicking photos of team buses as the local police in the city had a tough time to clear roads for the smooth traffic movement.
The third and final match of the 50-over series is scheduled on January 22 at historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
India has an unassailable lead of 2-0 in a three-match series.
