Centuries from Thirush Kamini and Poonam Raut and nine wickets for Harmanpreet Kaur helped India Eves register a historic win over South Africa Eves by an innings and 34 runs in the one off Test at Mysore. 

India Eves won the toss and elected to bat first and Thirush Kamini and Poonam Raut put on a 275-run partnership that smothered the South African bowling attack. This 275-run partnership for the 2nd wicket was the between Kamini and Raut was a world-record. Kamini struck 192 and Raut 130 as India Eves declared their first innings at 400/6. Sunette Loubser was the pick of the South African Eve bowlers picking up 3/90 in 33 overs. 

In reply, South Africa Eves lost early wickets and Mignon du Preez’s century wasn’t enough to save them from follow-on as they got bundled out for 234. Harmanpreet Kaur rattled their batting and picked up 5 wickets. From being 209/4, Harmanpreet picked up quick wickets to help her team enforce the follow-on. 

In the second innings, South Africa could only muster 132 with Trisha Chetty providing some resistance with 35 off 131 balls. Harmanpreet Kaur was again the pick of the India Eve bowlers as she picked up 4 wickets making her match tally of 9/85.
