India no longer Number 1 ranked in ODIs

Following the defeat in the first ODI against West Indies , India has slipped from Number 1 rankings in the ICC ODI rankings. India has been overtaken by South Africa as the number 1 . But , with Australia and Pakistan series also there and 4 ODIs of the India vs West Indies still left, a lot of possibilities are still there. If India win the remainder 4 ODIs , they will again get back to Number 1 . But , if India wins 3-2 and Australia wins it 3-0 , Australia will become Number 1 again. But if Australia wins it 2-1 , South Africa will be Number 1 .

The fact that India has been defeated by West Indies, a team which is placed Number 8 in the rankings did affect it. India still has the same number of points as South Africa , but lack behind in fraction point.

Here is the list

Rank Team

1 South Africa 113
2 India 113
3 Sri Lanka 111
4 Australia 111
5 England 107
6 Pakistan 100
7 New Zealand 98
8 West Indies 96
9 Bangladesh
