Leading sports management group IOS Sports and Entertainment has signed India’s under-19 cricket captain Ishan Kishan for three years. After Suresh Raina, Ishan is only the second cricketer to have been signed by the group.

Ishan Kishan is an emerging cricketer from Jharkhand. He was the skipper of India U-19 cricket team in the recently concluded ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup at Bangladesh.

Ishan Kishan is a promising wicketkeeper-batsman. He has signed a three-year commercial deal with this group for his worldwide representation rights. IOS will now manage Ishan’s endorsements and brand associations, corporate profile, patents and digital rights, images, visibility on social networking sites and merchandise.

Ishan said, “I am fortunate to be associated with IOS, my focus now will completely be on performing better and cementing my place in the senior national squad.”

On the other hand, IOA MD and CEO Neerav Tomar said about the signing, “We are proud to have added Ishan to our portfolio. The promising youngster has the potential to be among the top cricketers of the next generation.”

The 17-years old left-handed batsman Ishan Kishan made his first-class debut in December 2014 for Jharkhand. In 10 first-class matches, Ishan made 5 half-centuries and 1 century. For IPL 2016, he was bought by new IPL team Gujarat Lions.

Apart from the cricketers, IOS also manages sportspersons from other different disciplines like badminton star Saina Nehwal, boxers Vijender Singh and MC Mary Kom, wrestler Sushil Kumar and shooter Gagan Narang etc.
