Indian skipper Virat Kohli said it has been riveting Test series so far before adding it had brought up the emotions which further witnessed the roller coaster ride during the ongoing series and is hopeful the Border-Gavaskar series will finish on a good note in Dharamsala which will also witness its maiden Test.
“It’s been a very exciting series of ups and downs and roller coaster ride,” Kohli said.
Both the sides would like to create some sort of a momentum when they will lock horns in Dharamsala to emerge as winners after the series is tied at 1-1.
“I hope it [Test series] finishes really well and people would witness very good cricket here [Dharamsala],” Kohli revealed.
The Delhi-born Kohli had also admitted Australia had played good cricket and credited the visitors as a side before praising Peter Handscomb and Shaun Marsh for saving a Test for the visitors.
“It is all to play for. I think the series is beautifully placed,” Kohli added.
After the DRS controversy became the heated debate, India came back hard at Australia to level the Test series in Bengaluru by 75 runs before Ranchi Test was drawn.
The intriguing Test series had so far witnessed the ‘brain fade’ moments before both the teams’ players had put on the splendid performances with the bat and a ball equally.
It is expected the fans would witness cracking contest and some exciting sessions of cricket would test the players as the game would progress during the fourth and final Test in Dharamsala, which is scheduled on Saturday.
“Both sides [India-Australia] are excited to play the Test match,” Kohli concluded.
However, on the other hand, Dharamsala wicket has been traditionally helping the seamers which further have a good bounce on an offer, according to its chief pitch curator Sunil Chauhan.
