After winning the toss on what seems to be a more drier wicket than the viciously turning one in the T20 World cup game between India and New Zealand, the England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bowl first. He made an anticipated change in the playing XI bring in an extra spinner in form of Liam Dawson in place of Liam Plunkett.
Indian team too had one change in the side as Amit Mishra was brought into the squad in place of Parvez Rasool, who made his debut in the last game. That was the only change in the Indian team as opposite to the hopes of the fans, Rishabh Pant did not get an opportunity to make his debut in this game.
The pitch seems to be a turner and spinners will have a big role to play in the game, especially with big boundaries waiting for batsmen at the other end. Dew factor will have its say in the game and its effects might be seen within first 10 overs of the game.
Here are playing XI of both the teams:
Virat Kohli (C), Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, MS Dhoni (WK), Amit Mishra, Ashish Nehra, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh
Eoin Morgan (C), Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler (WK), Liam Dawson, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, David Willey
