India vs England 3rd Test: Haseeb Hameed To Undergo X-Ray After Third Test

The England opener, Haseeb Hameed, is likely to undergo an X-Ray after the completion of third Test match as the youngster suffered a blow on the finger of his left hand when he was dismissed on a surprising uprising delivery from Umesh Yadav. The pace and the immediate bounce left him astounded as the ball went on to touch his finger and the force of the hit can be adjudged by the fact that it carried to the slips as well. This blow has now come as a scare for England and result will be computed after Haseeb undergoes the scan.

The 19-year old right-handed batsman made his Test debut in the first game of the series at Rajkot where he scored 113 runs. From then, his bat has been a silent thing on the field and he needs to score a big score in the second innings of the third Test as persistent failures at Test level can force Alastair Cook to have a look at his form and he may be forced to drop the youngster.

The injury scare has been a problem for the Indian team as well as till now three Indian players namely Wriddhiman Saha, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have been injured. The same was the case with India and New Zealand when India was playing against New Zealand in the month of September/October. The injury issue has performed the role of a ghost and is leaving no sight to  keep both the teams marred with injury issues.
