West Indies are in India to play Five ODIs, One T20I and Three Tests. Where West Indies would love to spoil the momentum of the no.1 one day team India, there India will look to add one more series win to their tally. Here are the some pointers about, what this series will give to its fans.

1. Perfect opportunity for Kohli to get back in form:
Indian fans were disgusted when India’s top performer Virat Kohli didn’t do well on the tour of England. However, Kohli will be more relaxed in home conditions and it seems as a perfect opportunity for him to get back his lost form and find his rhythm again.

2. Comebacks and Opportunities:
Amit Mishra is making a comeback to the side while Kuldeep Yadav is the surprise pick. There is no surety that both players will be in the playing eleven, but if they do get a chance, this is a golden opportunity for both of them with World Cup just round the corner. Murali Vijay is selected a backup opener and if needed he could prove a point with the bat.

3. No Gayle, No Narine:
West Indies have had a tough time getting their team. While Narine was withdrawn, Gayle was rested. There have been many controversies with the WIPA (West Indies Players Association) regarding the pay. Players have threatened that they may go on strike too. Some players may withdraw their services for the first ODI at Kochi.

4. The interesting T20:
With ODI’s being pretty much a one sided affair, the T20 will be an intense competition. West Indies have many T20 specialists who have played competitive cricket in India. Dwayne Smith, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels are T20 specialists who lifted the trophy back in 2012.

5. Rain may play a spoil sport:
Already the weather forecasters have said that there are chances of rain during the first ODI at Kochi. With the changes in climatic conditions, rain might play a spoil sport before the start of the series. However, the fans look forward for a game to be held, let us hope the series goes smoothly.
