Indian Team for the tour of Bangladesh has been announced . This tour was announced by BCCI out of nowhere and will be an ODI series of 3 matches. Suresh Raina will be leading the troops to Bangladesh.

The selectors have rewarded many performers of the IPL and a lot of it has to take with the fact that some pro’s of the team including Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have opted to rest for this series and be fresh for the tour of England . Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Shami Ahmed have also been rested .

Robin Uthappa got a call up for his outstanding performance in this year’s IPL , where he currently holds the orange cap.  Akshar Patel and Kedar Jadhav have got their maiden call up  for the Indian team.  Akshar Patel impressed one and all with his all round abilities and Kedar Jadhav had a terrific Ranji season and showed his hard hitting abilities for Delhi Daredevils , where he didnot get enough chance to express himself.

Manoj Tiwari also got a recall and Amit Mishra has been retained inspite of a horrible outing in the IPL. Pujara has been picked and will be interesting to see if he gets a chance or not. Wridhiman Saha is the first choice wicket keeper and Kedar Jadhav is the back up.

Squad for Bangladesh (ODIs): Suresh Raina (capt.), Robin Uthappa, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ambati Rayudu, Manoj Tiwary, Kedar Jadhav, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Parvez Rasool, Akshar Patel, R Vinay Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Stuart Binny, Mohit Sharma, Amit Mishra
