When India played their last Test match at Old Trafford, Manchester, Sachin Tendulkar was still a wonder kid who scored his maiden International Century at the historic venue. 24 years went by and Sachin hung up his boots after an illustrious cricket career that saw him reach many heights. After two decades, the Indian cricket team is set to play at Old Trafford. After winning the Lords test India literally surrendered to England at Southampton and the Investec Series moves to Manchester for the fourth test of the five match series.

India has a poor record at the venue, losing three Tests apart from five stalemates. India played their first match way back in 1936 which turned out to be a dull draw. But some classic innings from Vijay Merchant, Syed Musthaq Ali and Wally Hammond were the standout features of that match. Here is a look at all the matches in which India featured at the venue.
