India’s Record at Nottingham

  • India began the ODI series against England well by winning the second ODI at Cardiff by 133 runs after the first ODI was washed out at Bristol. The third ODI is taking place at Nottingham in less than a day’s time and it is one of the venues where India does not have a proper track record in ODI’s. India have played four matches at Trent Bridge and in those four matches, India have won only one losing the remaining three. The sole win for India came against England in 1990. India are playing an ODI at Trent Bridge after 10 years.

The current team led by MS Dhoni will look to continue the winning run at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Winning the match will give India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five match series and hence India are ensured that they can’t lose the series to England.
