An injured Corey Anderson is replaced by another hard hitter Alex Hales from England as Mumbai Indians look to get their starting XI sorted out after losing Anderson to a minor fracture to one of his fingers.
Mumbai Indians, who have not started this season’s IPL on a bright note have, now, slowly made their impact on the league and are now two victories away from a spot in the play offs.
The squad that the Mumbai Indians have has more bench strength than some IPL playing elevens. It can be a problem sometimes to choose the right combination from the squad and choosing the right player for the right position can be a headache. The Mumbai Indians have found the right combination and are back to winning ways.
However they faced some bad news after hearing that the all rounder from New Zealand, Corey Anderson, who showed what he can do with the bat and the ball this IPL already, is set to miss the rest of the IPL due to an injury. But they have found an able replacement in Alex Hales who has got a reputation of big hitting in the England domestic cricketing circuit.
Alex Hales ,who will be available for the Mumbai Indian on the 17th of this month for the match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad after completing the official paperwork needed, has represented England in 33 T20s and has scored at a strike rate of 139 and will be waiting to get a chance to showcase his talent.
