IPL 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – Kohli breaks Gayle’s record

Royal Challengers Bangalore have probably the best batting line-up this IPL but their bowling has let them down at times. After an hours delay in the match due to rain, we did get to see complete 40 overs of the match. Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to field, this is the first time RCB will be chasing in this season of Indian Premier League. As RCB are struggling to get their combination right, Virat Kohli again made 4 changes in the team to ensure they get the right combination of bowlers and batsman this time.

As SRH came in to bat, Dhawan got out early but Warner continued his good form and scored 92 runs. Kane Williamson getting a game today also scored a 50 and cameo from Henriques in the end to the Sunrisers score to 194 in 20 overs. Yet again RCB bowlers bowled poorly, though the pitch was good to bat on, 194 was too much.

Virat and Lokesh Rahul started off well in the chase but Kohli soon lost his wicket and de Villiers couldn’t last longer either. All the big names were soon in the dug-out and there wasn’t much the middle order could do. In the end, Royal Challengers fought hard but lost the match by 15 runs.
