Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss in the first eliminator of IPL 2017 and decided to field first at M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.

Both the sides had oodles of changes, captains announced at the toss. KKR had a debutant inform Ishank Jaggi and along with it, they included SuryaKumar Yadav, Piyush Chawla and Nathan Coulter-Nile.

SRH too had four changes as a fit-again Yuvraj Singh made a comeback to the team. Along with him, Chris Jordan, Kane Williamson and Bipul Sharma made their way in the team. Jordan is playing his first game of the season.

It was surprising to see Siraj being dropped from the side as he bowled a match-winning spell of 4/32 and also won the Man of the Match award for his performance.

It’s a must win the game for the teams as the winner will go on to face Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier at the same venue on May 19 whereas the loser will be ruled out of the tournament.

Here is the playing XI of both the sides –

Kolkata Knight Riders – Chris Lynn, Gautam Gambhir (c), Robin Uthappa (wk), Yusuf Pathan, Suryakumar Yadav, Colin de Grandhomme, Ishank Jaggi, Sunil Narine, Piyush Chawla, Umesh Yadav, Trent Boult.
