Harsh Goenka, a brother of the owner of Rising Pune Supergiant Sanjiv Goenka, heaped praises on Mumbai Indians for defending a low total in the final, and to lift the IPL trophy for the third time. Here is what Harsh Goenka tweeted –

Surprisingly, he did not make an indirect taunt on any of his players especially, MS Dhoni, who was expected to lead the team in his seventh final. His wicket nearly changed the course of the game as from there, Pune faltered and lost the final.
Still, they were in the game as they needed 23 off 12. A six from Steven Smith on the penultimate delivery of penultimate over of the game brought them close. A four from Manoj Tiwary to welcome Mitchell Johnson in the last over put them on the course but it was their last hurrah as, after that, wickets on consecutive deliveries and Johnson making experience count was enough for Mumbai Indians to lift the cup.
At the end, when someone will look at the scoresheet and will say the winning margin was just one run, it will not be fair. The efforts, excitement and the stress during the game were palpable from the outside world as well and it was a great game, probably the best one of the tournament that was subdued till the final.
With this, Mumbai Indians lifted the cup for the third time, every time under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. The win was much special because of all the three times, including the qualifier one, Mumbai have lost to Rising Pune Supergiant this season but despite that, Mumbai had the last laugh and stamped a win by one run, when it mattered the most.
