The current form of Royal Challengers Bangalore has not just surprised but has also disappointed their fans. The finalist of last year’s tournament was expected to dominate each and every team coming their way, but their tame form has put everyone in worry.
RCB is heavily loaded with plenty of stars. Starting from Virat Kohli to AB de Villiers to Shane Watson, this team has got players who can turn the game on their head from any situation but have failed to deliver on the field at the time when needed the most.
Performances have come but were not enough that could compute the result in the end.
They are left with nine matches and now they have to win more than seven games in order to qualify for the next round. Each and every game they play now is a do or die one and the senior players have now to get the job done before it gets too late.
Previous encounters –
Both RCB and Gujarat Lions have faced each other thrice before where Bangalore holds an edge over the home team. RCB have won two games where Gujarat have been able to seal a win in just one game. The biggest win for the team came in the first qualifier of IPL 2016 when RCB became the first team to qualify for the final of the league. Further, Gujarat went on to lose the second game as well and could not qualify for the final.
RCB have to be wary of this team, as Gujarat will look to take a revenge from the visitors at any cost.

Talking points –
The biggest talking point will the form of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for RCB, as though both of them have performed well, but have failed to take their team to a win. The onus again will be on these two-star players to script a turnaround for the team, as now each and every loss will prove quite costly for them, keeping in mind that they have just won one game out of five contests.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted XI: Virat Kohli(capt), Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, Kedar Jadhav(w), Sachin Baby, Stuart Binny, Pawan Negi, Samuel Badree, Adam Milne, Sreenath Aravind, Yuzvendra Chahal.
