IPL 2017 Match 5 – Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevills – DD Predicted Xi

Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore both teams have been hit by injuries. Both teams’ star players are sidelined because of injury or some other reason.
Delhi’s star batsman Quinton De Kock is out of IPL because of a fractured finger, Jean-Paul Duminy is out citing some personal reasons, Shreyas Iyer is out of initial matches cause of chicken pox, Angelo Mathews is still in rehabilitation and now clouds over Rishabh Pant as well because of unfortunate demise of his father.
While on the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain Virat Kohl got injured in mid of Australia series and is yet to recover, AB De Villiers is suffering from bad back, Sarfaraz Khan just before the first game injured himself. Both team’s balance is badly hit by injuries and in initial games, they might only look to find a better composition. Royal Challengers in their first game was demolished by Sunrisers and Delhi is yet to play their first game.
Previous encounters:
Their previous encounters in 2016 season ended in 1-1. Delhi defeated Bangalore in Bangalore and Bangalore defeated Delhi in their own backyard Raipur.
Though their first encounter in Bangalore was a run fest as Delhi in the second inning chased down the target of 191 with Quinton De Kock scoring a ton for Delhi. And in second encounter Bowlers played their part and in a little close encounter, Bangalore defeated Delhi by six wickets.

Delhi Daredevils are yet to play their opening game this season, in fact, this will their season opener. Though Delhi Daredevils management will be looking to find better team composition in the absence of their star players Dekock, Duminy, Iyer and Mathews. Bangalore has always been a good batting track, and if Delhi gets a good start against RCB bowlers then their bowlers under Zaheer khan are capable of defending totals. They have also included Amit Mishra in their squad.
