The IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) will honor legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga to celebrate the ten years of Indian Premier League (IPL). Both Harbhajan and Tendulkar have been the part of the franchise right from the inception of the tournament, whereas, Lasith Malinga, the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL joined the squad in the year 2009.

It was the year 2013 when Mumbai Indias won the first IPL trophy and all these three players were the part of the team.

All the three players have also contributed to the team pretty well, as Tendulkar played a total of 78 games and scored 2334 runs at an average of 34.83. He also has one century to his name in the year 2011 against Kochi Tuskers Kerala.

Harbhajan Singh, who has played maximum matches out of the three players, took field in 125 games for the team where he scalped 119 wickets. On the other hand, Lasith Malinga has 143 scalps to his name.

Their contribution to the team is unmatchable and surely they deserve every bit of honors bestowed on them.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will open its IPL campaign against Rising Pune Supergiant on April 6. Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya have been declared fit for the game.
