IPL 2017: Unchanged RPS Bowl, SuryaKumar Yadav Replaces Injured Robin Uthappa

The visiting side Rising Pune Supergiant won the toss and decided to bowl first, on a ground where Steven Smith reckoned that is good for chasing. Coming fresh off an impressive win over Gujarat Lions, the RPS skipper did not tinker with the winning combination and retained all the eleven players from the previous game.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders were forced to make one change in the side as Robin Uthappa, their in-form batsman has got a niggle and he was replaced by SuryaKumar Yadav, who was earlier dropped from the side following few unimpressive performances.
Kolkata Knight Riders are the only team which Rising Pune Supergiant haven’t been able to defeat. The Steven Smith led side will look to turn the fortunes in their favour this time.
Here is what both the captains said at the time of the toss –
Gautam Gambhir: We have done well. We would have bowled as well. We have played some great cricket. It was just an innings from Warner that took the game away from us. Robin’s got a niggle, so we have got Suryakumar (Yadav) in. Just a niggle but we don’t want to take any chance.
Steven Smith: We are going to have a bowl. Generally, it is a chasing ground here. He (Stokes) was magnificent the other night. No changes for us.
Here is the playing XI of both the teams –
Kolkata Knight Riders (Playing XI): Sunil Narine, Gautam Gambhir(c), Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Suryakumar Yadav, Sheldon Jackson(w), Colin de Grandhomme, Chris Woakes, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav
Rising Pune Supergiant (Playing XI): Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Tripathi, Steven Smith(c), Manoj Tiwary, Ben Stokes, MS Dhoni(w), Daniel Christian, Washington Sundar, Jaydev Unadkat, Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir.
