In a quest to continue their winning run, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided bowl first, keeping in mind the dew factor that will come into play later in the second innings of the game.
Visitors went up with an unchanged squad, as Gautam Gambhir found no use in tinkering with the winning combination.
On the another hand, Ashish Nehra again missed out and it is the local boy Mohammed Siraj who replaced him. Deepak Hooda was also dropped in favour of spinner Bipul Sharma.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has won all the four games they have played at their home ground and they will look to continue their form over here.
Here is what both the captains said at the time of the toss –
David Warner:
“Let’s hope we make it five out of five here in Hyderabad. We have been playing well at home. We got to make the most of it. Hooda and Nehra are out. Bipul and Siraj are back.”
Gautam Gambhir:
“We are looking to bowl. I don’t think the wicket will change much and we are chasing well. They are a very good side, we need to play well. We are playing the same team.”
