IPL 2017: Watch: Yuvraj Singh’s Barren Run Continues With Golden Duck Against KXIP

After scoring a stunning 62-run knock in the season-opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad star Yuvraj Singh has not quite managed to live up to the early promises.
The veteran star blasted 62 runs off only 27 balls, as the defending champions began their title defence with a comprehensive 35-run win over Bangalore.
However, Yuvraj has not managed to replicate the same form in the next matches. He did not get a chance to bat in the second match against Gujarat Lions, as David Warner and Moises Henriques guided them to a 9-wicket victory.
The southpaw did get a chance to bat in the next match against Mumbai Indians but failed to make it count. In the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the hard-hitting batsman got the start but could not capitalise on it. He had raced to 26 runs off only 16 balls including a couple of fours and as many sixes before being dismissed by Chris Woakes.
And his barren run with the bat continued in the ongoing match against Kings XI Punjab too, where he was dismissed for a golden duck. Coming to bat when his team was in a precarious position after Moises Henriques’ dismissal reduced them to 50 for two, Yuvraj could do little to bolster the innings.
Looking to cut Axar Patel’s delivery that was not very wide, Yuvraj had to pay a hefty price for the mistake edged, as he nicked it to the wicketkeeper who made no mistake in pouching the catch.
Here is a clip of that dismissal:
