IPL 2017: Watch: Zaheer Khan Uproots Ajinkya Rahane’s Middle-Stump With Trademark Inswinger

Age is not on his side, neither is the luxury of playing international cricket in recent years but the way the former India pace spearhead Zaheer Khan dismissed Ajinkya Rahane in the ongoing match between Delhi Daredevils and Rising Pune Supergiant, it is enough to show that the 38-year old Delhi Daredevils skipper has still got a lot of cricket left in him.

After being restricted to 168 for eight on a good batting pitch at the Feroz Shah Kotla, the Daredevils needed a strong start to put the high-flying Supergiant under pressure and Zaheer Khan rose to the occasion by dismissing Rahane on the very first ball of the innings with his trademark inswinger.

The left-arm pacer, who retired from international cricket in 2014, pitched full and just when Rahane put his bat forward to defend the ball, it swung in to find the gap between one of India’s best Test batsmen’s pad and bat.

Here is a clip of that dismissal:
