After a tremendous start RCB put on big score help of Yuvraj & AB D’s carnage, they got a mind-blowing twist as RR pulled of the match and that too with 7 balls to spare. James Faulkner – [41 runs Not Out, 17 balls; 3×4’s, 3×6’s] {Man of the Match} :

With 84 needing in 39, James Faulkner came out to bat. He played cautiously against the bowlers and was just 5 off 7.But after that he turned around. He took over Starc as James extracted 20 from his over. Later he smashed 6,2,4,6 against RCB to end up their winning. With the ball he was expensive but he managed to take a wicket of AB de Villiers.

Steven Smith – [48 runs Not Out, 21 balls; 4×4’s, 4×6’s]:

Came out to bat with atleast more than 12 an over was requiring Smith needed to score his team as much as he can. He didn’t took much time as he started from the third ball itself. He smashed Aaron for 14 and brought the hopes alive. But it was a big over where RR got 23 from Dinda’s off which Smith scored 21 hitting 2 fours and sixers. After that he couldn’t get a chance to complete his fifty.

Yuvraj Singh – [38 runs, 38 balls; 7×4’s, 7×6’s] [4-0-35-4]:

Out of form Yuvraj Singh finally showed his all-round skills. Came out to bat at critical stage he attacked the opposition playing a brilliant carnage. He opened his account scoring a boundary of the third ball and never stopped after it. He started to find the spots and gaps as he kept hitting boundary every over. He brought up his fifty off 24 ball with a six off Richardson. Just before felling to Richardson he smoked 6 4 6 and ended on 83 off 38 balls sharing a 127 run partnership with de Villiers.

With the ball he was the old Yuvraj Singh. He bowled the dream line of an off-spinner tossing ball outside off stump. He bowled flippers and flight the ball in order to make batsman play. He succeeded in this process as he picked up 4 wickets most in the match. His wickets included Watson, Binny, Samson and set batsman Nair.


 

AB de Villiers – [58 runs, 32 balls; 1×4’s, 5×6’s]:

AB de Villiers continued his good form. Once again he played a brilliant innings in the context. With Yuvraj was looking adequate in his 127 run partnership of 8.5 overs. Later he too began his carnage completing his 50 in just 33 balls. He ended up scoring 75 Lakhs in 24.

Karun Nair – [56 runs, 39 balls; 8×4’s]:

Karun Nair the rising Indian start has played a couple of knock for RR this season. With a big chase on he stick on to the task leading his team towards the target till he was at the crease. He played some delightful strokes trying to bring down the run rate. He completed his fifty of just 34 balls as he was dismissed by Yuvraj trying to go for big shot after scoring a 39-ball 56 which had 8 fours in it.
