Batting first, MI posted a decent total of 183/7 in their 20 allotted overs, thanks to Kieron Pollard (60) runs and Rohit Sharma (50) runs. Chasing a target of 184, CSK made short work of it as they reached the target with more than 3 overs to spare as McCullum and Smith tore the MI bowling to pieces.
