The eighth season of the IPL is about to begin and every team wants to start off on a good note. The Sunrisers Hyderabad who have been resurrected recently is playing under Tom Moody. Former Sri Lanka coach shared his views on the eve of the first time the team regrouped for the season.

SRH, who are to play their opening game against most consistent team in IPL CSK and have a weak Indian contingent in the team which includes the likes of Ishanth Sharma, Pervez Rasoool, Naman Ojha and Praveen Kumar, started a light exhilarating session at the Vishaka ground in Vizag.

Moody who looked happy at this moment felt that the fans will be treated with some good cricket this year and that he hopes that they would succeed in winning something this year.

The World Cup winning opener David Warner who was in great form at the world cup will lead the side and Moody felt that having a cup winner is always good for any team and that the confidence will be high.

The SRH who are supposed to play two practice matches on the 7th and the 8th of April at the ACA-VDCA Cricket stadium here in Vishakapatnam also have two Black Caps – Trent Boult and Kane Williamson – in their team who had a relatively successful campaign at the Worldcup and Moody felt that the success at the biggest stage of cricket will help his side in the IPL.
