Bhuvneshwar Kumar who was a regular in the national team before leaving for the World Cup now finds himself in the midst of a selection battle and must prove himself in this season’s IPL to have any chances of coming back into the team.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up an ankle injury before the World Cup which saw him miss 3 tests in Australia and though he came back for the fourth and for the tri-series he did not look anywhere near his best and after failing to impress in the warm-ups MSD chose to leave him out of the playing 11 in the World Cup.

Bhuvneshwar will be a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad outfit this season as well said that he is eager to perform in this season said that a chance of match time in the IPL makes him excited.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar who was asked about the competition he has to face to get back into the squad said that it is always healthy to have such competition in the team and that it will make them better players. He also added that he learnt a lot from his time in Australia sitting on the side lines for most of the time.

He also said that he will never give up his ability to swing for extra yards of pace said that he is good rhythm and that he is all ready to go.
