The only team from the sub-continent which is known for it fast bowlers, Pakistan always has problems with discipline of the players and also with the administration.

Kamran Akmal who may have put his place in the team at jeopardy lashed out at the PCB for leaving out Umar Akmal his younger brother in a sacrificing manner.

Akmal who has also seen Shehzad restricted to T20’s for disciplinary reasons as said by the board felt that his brothers career was destroyed for non-cricketing reasons and that it was the job of the management and the coach to make the players understand their role and play them accordingly.

Akmal who felt that his brother always put the team before anything personal said that this kind of team selection is not how you make good players and added that this is how good players are destroyed.

Akmal also added that recently the likes of Shoiab Malik and himself were in line for a comeback and that they had to be clear of disciplinary issues to have a chance to get back into the team.

An official from the PCB added that these statements have made it harder for Kamran to come back into the team but also added that they would give the player a chance to explain his statements.
