Kevin Pietersen wishes to play under Eoin Morgan

Kevin Pietersen greeted newly introduced England ODI captain and revealed his desire to play under him. Alastair Cook was to be fired as England captain and Morgan would come in as the new captain for the upcoming tri series in Australia featuring India and possibly for the World Cup as well following the tri-series, reported by the media on Friday evening.

Pietersen, who was draped by the England Cricket Board following England’s dingy performance in the Ashes series last winter had a vocal fissure for Alastair Cook on Twitter. However, when it reach to the new captain, he was fast enough to eulogize Morgan, reports media. He also tweeted

Kevin is recently playing the Big Bash League in Australia for Melbourne Stars where he looked in a better shape scoring 66 runs off 46 balls against Adelaide strikers in the starting match, although he ended up on the defeated side.

With this better shape of his and following the drop of Alastair Cook, there has been a conjecture and hearsay have been going brawny that this could be a chance for him to make it back of the England team for the greatest championship i.e. World Cup in  New Zealand and Australia  from February next year. Kevin is himself looking forward to the circumstances as well and is expecting for an opportunity to make his comeback under Morgan.

Morgan too would join Kevin Pietersen in the Big Bash League (BBL), but for another team, i.e. Sydney Thunder. He had also said that it is incredible to watch Pietersen out of the international team in October.

He added that he thinks it is incredible in a way, because surely he could still be playing cricket for England pretty easily. It is sad in a way to think that likely the best cricketer he has ever played with is not playing anymore.
