Virender Sehwag, the former Indian opening batsman, praised Virat Kohli and said that his kids can not move away from the television when the star cricketer is at the crease. “Virat is a fantastic player. The way he is batting at the moment is amazing. It is very difficult to take your eyes off the TV when he is batting. My kids want to see him bat,” said Sehwag.
Virender Sehwag still believes that India remains favourite to clinch the World T20 Trophy. “ I had picked India, New Zeland, South Africa and West Indies before. Though India lost their first match against New Zeland in Nagpur. But I feel they are still favourite to win the trophy. The same thing happened in 2011 World cup. India lost the first match against South Africa in Nagpur.”, the former opener told.
Viru also feels that Dhoni has, at least, five years of cricket left in him. “ Dhoni is now 34. Sachin played international cricket till 40. So, Dhoni can play for another five years more. If he plays 2019 World Cup, it will be a great end of his beautiful career. At this moment, he is in form.” said Sehwag, who retired from all forms of international cricket last year.
