In the latest ICC test bowlers ranking announced today, R Ashwin was profited with his brilliant performance in the first test match against New Zealand, he has climbed one place up to 2nd in the ICC test bowlers rankings. R Ashwin finished with 10 wickets in the match.

The top spot is been occupied by Dale Steyn who has retained his number 1 position. He is currently at 878 points. In the second position one of the best spinners at the present moment, R Ashwin has risen to second place in the rankings with 871 points. Ashwin has a chance to regain the top spot with the second test match to be played in Kolkata.

England leading pacer James Anderson has slipped to third place with 870 points. The fourth place has been occupied by partner Stuart Broad with 836 points.

Sri Lanka lead spinner Rangana Hearth retains his fifth place in bowler’s rankings with 831 points. Pakistan Yasir Shah occupies the sixth place and has a chance to rise up in the rankings with three match test series against West Indies.

Ravindra Jadeja has climbed one spot with his match-winning performance in the first test against New Zealand. He has jumped to 7th with 798 points. Australia Mitchell Starc has slipped down to one place down to 8th with 792 points.

Neil Wagner retains his 9th place but has dropped down points with 746 points. The 10th place is tied between New Zealand Trent Boult and South Africa Vernon Philander but with decimal points, Trent Boult is ahead. Here we look at the latest ICC test bowler’s rankings.
