The losing factor behind Rising Pune Supergiants

In what is surely coming as a surprise to all the fans is the continued poor form of the Rising Pune Supergiants team.
Before the start of the tournament the team was “Tagged” as one of the strongest contender of the cup. Well, why not? M.S. Dhoni, the three times IPL winning captain was leading the team. Also, the team had star T20 players like R.Ashwin, Steve Smith, Faf Du Plessis and many other players who have already made a name for themselves in this format.
The team combination looked perfect at the start of the tournament as the team had almost each and every aspect covered.
And they came the opening day of IPL where the team kicked off their campaign in style as they defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians. But after then no one knows that what happened to this team as the team was hit by poor form and injury to players. As many as four players from this team have headed back to their nations citing injury issues.
Also, the failure the Ashwin pair with the ball is hurting the team. Now a stage has come that Saurabh Tiwary, generally a middle order batsman has to open with Ajinkya Rahane. This is enough to tell that the team also do not have any regular opener in their team now.
This team surely needs a total revamp and Dhoni has to give a chance to the benched players as another two or three losses will make this team first team to be kicked out of the tournament.
The captain has to recognise the area of weakness and have to find a solution for all the problems as early as possible before it gets too late.
