M.S. Dhoni biopic to be released this year

The much awaited biopic on Indian captain M.S. Dhoni is set to be released on September 2 this year. The Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will portray the role of Indian captain; M.S. Dhoni in the movie.

The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Arun Pandey and Fox star studios. Music is given by young sensation Amaal Malik. Kiara Advani will play the role of better half of M.S. Dhoni whereas veteran actor and Padma Bhushan awardee Anupam Kher will play the role of Pan Singh; father of Dhoni. It is heard that Ziva Dhoni the daughter of M.S. Dhoni will too have a short role in the movie.

The movie will show all important events from the life of the Indian captain, from working as a ticket collector to trophy collector. Reports suggest that M.S. Dhoni signed a deal of worth rupees 60 Crores for this movie and he has already received 33% of the total payment.

For this role Sushant Singh Rajput changed his look completely. He sweat it out hard in nets practising helicopter shot. Last year he injured himself in the nets and was out of action for few days. To feel the atmosphere at the ground he also went to see few matches of IPL last year.

The first look of the movie was out way back in 2014 but after a wait of 2 years finally the movie is set to be released this year. Surely this movie will shatter all the box office records and will receive bumper opening.
Well it will be interesting to see that how Sushant portraits the role of Indian captain.
