India’s most successful skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic named ‘M.S.Dhoni – The Untold Story’ is one of the most awaited movie of this year. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the Bollywood movie is set to hit the theaters on September 30, 2016 and fans from every corner of the country are eagerly waiting for the release date.

Cricket is treated like a religion in India and it is safe to say that Dhoni is no less than a demigod for the cricket-crazy fans. And so any director planning to release his movie on the day Dhoni’s biopic is hitting the theaters can be said as an idiotic step.

However, according to reports the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer movie is all set to clash with Sunny Leone at the box office. Reports claim that the upcoming erotic thriller of Sunny Leone ‘Beimaan Love’ would hit the theaters on the same day as that of ‘M S Dhoni: The Untold Story’.

While there is no denying the fact that Dhoni is massively popular in the country and his biopic would be big hit but one cannot underestimate Sunny Leone who is known for her erotic movies.

Earlier ‘Beimaan Love’ was slated to release in June, but was postponed to release on the 2nd of September. Once again, after delays, the final date is 30th of September.

For the time being, there are no official announcements about the potential clash. But if it happens then the biopic will surely lose some good fortune.

The biopic ran into another problem a few days back when Maharashtra’s political party, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena expressed their disappointment  with the producer’s decision of releasing the movie in Marathi and threatened to boycott the movie.

The Movie traces the journey of India’s most successful skipper, who crossed numerous barriers and fought against all the odds to realize his dream of donning the Indian jersey. Dhoni’s journey from a T.C in the Indian Railways to the pinnacle of world cricket forms the crux of the story.

Well we hope that the movie does not hit any roadblock and becomes a massive hit.

An avid sports lover, i always wanted to pursue a career in football. But just like the millions out there i did not put in the hard work needed to achieve my dream and now i have become a fan instead of the player. Anyway, writing for sports has kept me closer to this field. One more thing, yours sincerely is a die-hard Liverpool fan. You will never walk alone.
