In a process to keep the spirit in the team after winning against Vidharbha at the Eden Gardens, the team management of Bengal has decided to make a three-minute motivational video which will be shown to the cricketers before their every forthcoming match in the Ranji Trophy this season. The video contains only the success and performing moments of Bengal cricketers in the tournament so far this season. Sairaj Bahutule, the Bengal coach who has left the city after Bengal won the match on Tuesday, said recently about this video, “The video is actually a combination of our cricketers’ good moments in the tournament. It contains Manoj Tiwari’s one excellent cover drive as well as Pragyan Ojha’s jubilation moment after he cracked Vidharbha innings at Eden Gardens. At the same time, the video will also show Ashoke Dinda’s impressive bowling against Haryana. All these things will be shown before every match so that the cricketers get inspired before they take on their opponents.”

The idea of making this three-minute video has been conceptualized by both the team’s coach and Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwari during Bengal’s preparatory tour to Sri Lanka last month. Manoj also articulated, “During our tour to Sri Lanka we had planned of this inspirational video with the purpose that all of our members should sit together and watch the positive sides of our performance, just to improve our performance in the coming matches. And after winning against Vidharbha I can say the medicine is playing a crucial role.”
