Cricket Australia (CA) suspended Matthew Wade, the Victoria Bushrangers captain for one match and fined him 50% of his match fee. Matthew Wade was found guitly breaching the CA code of behaviour following his team’s Matador One dup match loss to Queensland.

Matthew Wade has accepted his match suspension and is ready to bear the 50% fine on his fee. This means Wade will not be available for Victoria’s next match which is against New South Wales.

Cricket Victoria reported Wade of breaching Article 2.1.2 – Abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a match. 

After being dismissed Wade threw water bottle in the dressing room which broke a window glass. Wade has accpepted to bear the cover costs of the window to repair its damages.
