Former England Skipper Michael Vaughan has said that James Anderson is going to be the key for England in the remaining two Tests. After he got huge success in the previous tests England Cricket Board was tensed a lot as James Anderson could face ban. England Cricket Board relived when Anderson was cleared of all charges and free to play the remaining matches. In previous tests Anderson came up very handy with the ball and has performed exceptionally well so far in the tournament.

According to the Vaughan England can win the series having Anderson on their side. Anderson has got the number of Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan. They are all grappled to face him because they do not know which way the ball is going to move. Former skipper also mentioned James as skillful bowler in a recent interview. When James was not at his best, you always felt something could happen when James was bowling, added Vaughan. Michael said that he just need to focus on his bowling rather focusing on silly spats such as the one with Ajinkya Rahane at the end of day four in Southampton. He should not want his stature corroded by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. He should drive his aggressiveness on the field and chirp now and then but not at the end of the day when walking off the pitch. England has shown his class by performing magnificently in recent years. It compared to their hammering of Australia at Lord’s last year in terms of complete performance but in many ways this one was better because it was achieved by an inexperienced team without Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott or Kevin Pietersen.

Vaughan also felt guilty as he told Alastair Cook, that he needed a bit of rest before the start of the fourth Test match. He praises for Alastair Cook. Vaughan said that England’s bowlers are performing well, on the other hand Batsmen have to play their part as the bowlers could only be effective if the batsman had posted runs on the board.
