Mitchell Starc bowled 160.4 kmph at W.A.C.A, Perth against Ross Taylor


  • New Zealand have bounced back in the match as Kane Willaimson and Ross Taylor has scored brilliant centuries on the third day of the W.AC.A, Perth Test. New Zealand have posted 373 for 3 on board.

    Australian bowlers are looking toothless. Nothing was working against New Zealand batsmen. So, Mitchell Starc opted to bowl fast to rattle the New Zealand batsmen.

    Ross Taylor, who has completed his fantastic hundred, was batting on 137. Starc bowled the second fastest delivery of Test cricket. The record of fastest delivery is held by Jeff Thomson.

    The fastest ball of the match did not make much difference in the match as Ross Taylor used his back foot to defense the ball. Starc was frustrated as his only haul in the match is Martin Guptill, whose wicket he got on the second day of the Test.

     

     

    Kane Williamson once again in this series played a 166 runs innings before got out off Josh Hazlewood. Williamson has played 24 boundaries. The youngster has played a 140 runs innings at Brisbane. 

    The 265 run partnership between Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor have played an instrumental role in New Zealand’s first innings.

    Ross Taylor, who is receiving the wrath of Mitchell Johnson, has  settled down on the crease and hit 25 boundaries.

    Australia have declared their first innings 559 for 9 after playing one and half days. David Warner scored 253 while Usman Khawaja, who received an injury, scored 121.

    New Zealand have lost the Brisbane Test, so in three match tournament Perth Test is the only opportunity for New Zealand to defy Australia from victory and keep the excitement for the final Test at Adelaide on.

    Now, Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum and Ross Taylor are now at the crease. New Zealand have posted 406 in 89 overs losing just three wickets. However, they are still trailing by 153 runs.
