Hitting back at the religious fanatics, Mohammed Shami’s father has accused them of harassing his son after the fanatics trolled his wife because of her choice of clothes.
The unfortunate incident unfolded a couple of days ago when the Indian fast bowler posted a picture with his wife in a sleeveless dress on Facebook. However, some users were quick to remind him of his religious roots before asking him to ensure his wife follows the Muslim rituals and wears hijab.
The 26-year old hit back the next day by tweeting:“”Very good morning ?
Har kisi ko jindagi mai mukam ni milta, kuch kismat wale hi hote hai jinhe ye nasib hota hai.!.jalteee rahooooo…” (Not everyone is able to fulfil their aim in life, very few lucky individuals are able to achieve that.)
He further tweeted:“Ye dono meri zindage or life partner hai me acha trha janta hu kiya karna hai kiya nahi.hame apne andar dekhna chahiye ham kitna accha hai. (“My child and my wife are my companions in life. I exactly know what to do and what not to do for them. We all need to look inside to know how good we are.”)
Quite expectedly, he received support from all corners and now his father, Touseef Shami, has jumped to his defence. Asking everyone to support his son, Tauseef said: “This is a well planned strategy to harass him. Appeal to all Indians to continue to support him.”

Shami Sr. further said his family is well aware of Islamic rules and does not need unnecessary advice from others.
“We know what Islam says, we don’t need anyone’s unsolicited advice,” he said.
