The International Cricket Council has brought in MRF as a global partner for the next year’s Cricket World Cup to be jointly held in Australia and New Zealand. MRF is a renowned producer of tyres and other rubber products and it has been attached to the game of cricket for a long time now.

The MRF Pace Foundation is now a breeding ground for many fast bowlers and it has seen some really World Class fast bowlers training the youngsters across all the Test playing nations. Recently India also sent a pool of fast bowlers including Varun Aaron to be trained by Glenn McGrath at MRF Pace Academy.

MRF in turn will promote it’s products through this global event and will work with ICC continously improve the quality of the game.

Chairman & MD of MRF Limited, K M Mammen, was quoted  saying : “It is a historic moment for MRF. It is a matter of pride for MRF to be associated with the ICC World Cup Cricket 2015, which is considered by many to be the pinnacle of one-day cricket.”
