Despite a good show of strength by the Indian batsmen in first test at Trent Bridge, it is difficult to judge the end result of this ongoing five day test. But Indian captain MS Dhoni has surely equalized the record of 3 half centuries in England, held by Saurav Ganguly and Vijay Hazare realier. Dhoni had scored vital 82 runs before getting run out in a rather unfortunate manner while attempting to take another single.

It is apprehended that MS Dhon wiill surely beat this record too during the remaining tests and will be able to record the maximum number of half centuries on his name. Although Dhoni has not had a great test career outside India, this series is perhaps a great opportunity for him to improve it. England seem to be low on confidence and the bowlers are not in the best of form.

Indian team and the fans would certainly be hoping that Dhoni can muster up a few more half centuries on this tour, which would help the team in achieving a positive result. Best wishes to our captain!
