India’s limited overs skipper MS Dhoni could well be involved in another controversy. According to sources, the Jharkhand State Housing Board has sent a notice to the 34 year old Indian ODI captain with reference to a land allotment case.
Dhoni, received a notice on Thursday by the Jharkhand State Housing Board regarding a land which was wrongly allotted to him.
The Jharkhand government allotted a plot to Dhoni in the Harmu Housing Colony as a token of appreciation for his brilliant display in the cricket field in 2006. Soon, another land, just adjacent to the plot was allotted to the Indian skipper.
The 34 year old was previously in the news for the land allotment case, but this is the first time that a notice has been issued to him. The Board officials are silent on the controversial matter and have chosen to be away from the attention of the media. As a matter of fact, several high ranking officials from the housing board have even switched off their mobile phones.
It is now reported that the entire process of land allotment was inaccurate and this caused several other allotments to be cancelled. The Board’s new managing director, Dilip Jha based on previous complaints issued a notice to Dhoni.
