MS Dhoni is usually known for his cool and composed style of play be it in captaincy or be it during batting. M.S Dhoni is also rated very highly in regards to his wicket-keeping skills but just like every other player, Dhoni too has his own ups and downs with his glove work.

MS Dhoni has been seen making quite a few remarkably astonishing dismissals over the years. With quick reflexes and using his gloves to snatch catches mid-air but he has that odd blooper in him that usually pops up at the wrong time.

One such incident was witnessed today during the 2nd test against England at Old Trafford, Manchester United when he missed a sitter to run-out the English batsman when India desperately needed a wicket. The England batsman tried a make the most of a potential extra run but thanks to some good fielding and a great throw the England batsman was way short of his crease but for MS Dhoni who failed to collect the ball cleanly.

The stumps got clattered, the bails were dislodged and the batman was short of his crease but unfortunately for the Indians and in particular Dhoni, the ball was not in his gloves and was on the floor instead bouncing out of his gloves.

This is not the first time that MS Dhoni has fumbled with an easy chance with MS Dhoni missing the ball even during the IPL for Chennai Super Kings. Relive it in the video below.
